Introducing “Pua Melia,” our January Design of the Month.
Many decades ago, Len’s great-grandmother, Sophia Ventura, opened one of the very first pua melia (plumeria) lei stands at the Honolulu airport. Charlotte, Sophie’s daughter and Len’s grandmother, later joined in the family business. This black long-sleeve shirt — Len’s tribute to these pioneering women in his family — is adorned with a string of colorful pua melia that is sure to remain vibrant for a long time to come.
