Now, WHY are we doing this promotion? Two reasons! First, one of the many important lessons the pandemic has taught us is the value of friends and family. We at Håfaloha look at this promotion as our way of helping one lucky person to spend precious time making lifelong memories with their friends and family, with our delicious shave ice being an integral part of that experience. It truly gives us so much joy to imagine that our products would be (and are already) used to bring family and friends together. Second, we truly believe in our products, but it’s deeper than that… we truly believe that Guam is better off with our business and with the products we offer. Every day, we strive to leave each customer happier, more positive, and more satisfied than they were when they walked in. And the majority of the time, they are. And that’s why we believe so much in our delicious desserts and island wear — because we see the smiles on our customers’ faces and we hear the feedback they give us. We like to think we’re doing something right, and we want to enrich the lives of as many people as possible by getting our delicious desserts and other products into their hands. This giveaway is a great way for us to do that.

Terms & conditions:

• The entry period for this giveaway runs from January 5, 2022 until a winner is chosen in early February.
• The giveaway itself runs from the start date in early February until December 31, 2022.
• No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
• Making a purchase or payment of any kind will not increase your chances of winning.
• The winner will be chosen randomly from everyone who liked AND commented on our Facebook post or Instagram post. (BOTH liking and commenting are required to win.)
• Those who like and comment on both the Facebook and Instagram posts will receive 2 entries.
• Commenting multiple times will not increase your chances of winning.
• The drawing will take place on February 1, 2022 no later than 12:00 noon Chamorro Standard Time.
• The winner will be chosen at random by an online service which will access our Facebook post and Instagram post, and choose a winner from among all the commenters.
• (Again, commenting multiple times will not increase your chances of winning.)
• We will verify that the winner also "liked" the corresponding post.
• The winner will be notified by social media message.
• The winner must respond within 24 hours to claim prize. If the winner does not respond within 24 hours, another drawing will be chosen.
• The winner agrees to allow Håfaloha to photograph them with the prize and use on Håfaloha’s social media.
• The winner will be publicly announced on Håfaloha’s Facebook and Instagram shortly thereafter.
• The prize is up to 4 Dikiki-size shave ices per day, until December 31, 2022.
• The prize can only be redeemed once daily.
• The prize expires December 31, 2022.
• The prize can be redeemed only during regular Håfaloha business hours.
• The prize cannot be redeemed any day Håfaloha is closed, or any day outside of Håfaloha’s regular business hours.
• The prize value ($5.75 per Dikiki shave ice) can be put toward a larger shave ice or shave ice special, as long as the winner pays the difference.
• The value of more than one Dikiki shave ice cannot be combined and put toward another prize. (For example, the winner cannot give up two Dikiki shave ices, worth $11.50, and ask for that amount off any other dessert or product.)
• The prize cannot be exchanged for, nor can the prize value be put toward, any other product or service.
• The prize cannot be exchanged for cash.
• The prize is not transferable.
• The winner must be present whenever the prize is redeemed. The winner cannot have his/her friends get a free shave ice without being present himself/herself.
• The winner can bring up to 3 others into the store with them to redeem the prize. The others must be physically present in-store to get a shave ice.
• Håfaloha employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.
• There are no age or residency requirements.
• Håfaloha will obtain user consent in order to use any user-generated content (UGC), including any comments or photos submitted for this promotion, for other Håfaloha business or promotions.
• All entrants to this giveaway acknowledge that this giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook.
• These terms and conditions may change at any time without notice.
